Bad Teacher Movie, Funny

The movie Bad Teacher is pretty funny, but I didn't know it was rated R until the movie was going. The movie was funny and the acting was pretty good. The movie is about a gold digging woman, Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz), who only started teaching to do something while she was going to quit to marry a rich dude. Well the rich dude broke it off because he realized that she was just a gold digger. So she had to go back to being a teacher to have money. When she goes back, a crazy teacher, Amy Squirrel (Lucy Punch), really likes her and wants to be friends. Well Elizabeth doesn't want to be friends with anyone and wants a rich man to marry so she doesn't have to work. Well the new sub, Scott Delacorte (Justin Timberlake), is rich and Elizabeth wants to get with him, but she decides that she needs to get new breast. Unfortunately, the surgery is really expensive and Elizabeth decides that she is going to do anything to get the money. Well the school gives a bonus to the teacher whose students do the best on a test so she decides to actually start teaching and do other things to make sure she wins.
The movie was really funny but anyone who is against rated R movies should not go see it. The movie was funny and I actually laughed. Totally go see it.

Green Lantern, Pretty Good

The Green Lantern was pretty good. There was action and storyline and a hot dude. There wasn't as much action and fighting as I would have liked, but whatever.
The movie starts off by telling the story of how Abin Sur beat Parallax and then it shows how Parallax gets out. It then shows Hal Jordan (Ryan Renyolds) who is a test pilot who likes to shirk responsibility. At the start, Hal is flying to test out new unmaned drones and while he does this, he gets scared and starts thinking about the past, when his dad died testing a plane. Well in space, Abin Sur trys to beat Parallax, but wounds him. So Abin Sur goes to Earth to find the new Lantern for the Green Lantern Corp. The ring chooses Hal and takes him to the Green Lantern Corps home planet, where he learns to use the ring. Hal doesn't want the responsibility and tells the Green Lanterns no. Well the government finds Abin Sur's body and calls in a zenobiologist, Hector. Well Hector gets infected by the junk that Parallax used to kill Abin Sur. This draws Parallax to Earth and Hal has to fight Parallax.
This movie is good for people who like comicbooks and superheroes. If that is your style, then see the movie. There is even some romance and shiz in the movie too for all the girls, and also a hot dude for the girls. The movie is rated PG-13 for some violence and some mild language. This movie wasn't super great but still something to see.

Super 8: I Finally Get It

I finally understand the trailers and the mystery of the movie Super 8. The movie was actually pretty good, too. This is a movie that you should go to if you like "monster" movies. "After witnessing a mysterious train crash, a group of friends in the summer of 1979 begin noticing strange happenings going around in their small town, and begin to investigate into the creepy phenomenon" (imdb.com).
At the start of the movie, the main character, Joe (Joel Courtney) is at the funeral of his mother. The story then jumps to four months later at the start of summer vacation. Joe and his friends a filming a zombie movie and they as a girl from school, Alice (Elle Fanning), to help them. They go to film at a train station at midnight. While filming, a truck runs into the train and crashes it. The air force owns the train and is all over the town. No one knows what is happening. Joe's dad, Jackson (Kyle Chandler), is the town deputy and is trying to uncover the mystery of disappearances of people, pets, and anything electronic.
The movie covers up what the creature is and then after about 45 min, they finally revile what it is and you get a full on look at it (not like stupid movies like Cloverfield where you don't see practically any of the monster). They explain most of the questions and it all looks pretty good. The movie has little teenage love and family drama and tension and stuff. It was really good and one of the parts almost made me want to cry. It was good and I say go see it. The movie is rated PG-13 for action violence, a little gore, some drugs, there is a little profanity (I heard the f-word once but supposedly it was dropped twice, the s-word and other mild profanes), and the "monster" is a little scary. When I was at the movie, there were some little kids there, but I wouldn't recommend kids under like 10.

A new trailer for the movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes and it looks super sweet. I love all the really old Planet of the Apes movie (there is 5 old ones) and the remake in 2000 with Mark Walhberg was okay. This movie looks super sweet!!! I'm am pretty excited.

X-Men: First Class, Good Movie

X-Men: First Class is a good movie. If you like X-Men, you will like this movie cause it kind of shows how things got started. There was action, adventure, some comedy, and awesomeness. The only sucky thing was that there wasn't an extra clip at the end of the credits. :( So don't stay after the credits.
The movie starts out showing when Erik/Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Charles/Professor X (James McAvoy) are young in 1944. Erik is in a Nazi concentration camp where Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) is working on genes and mutants. Charles is in his house and finds young Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawerence) who is trying to steal food. Charles tells her she can live with him and so she kind of becomes his sister. The movie then flashes to the 1960's. Erik is looking for revenge against Shaw and Charles is going to become a professor of genetics. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) is trying to investigate mutants and seeks out the help of Charles. Charles and Raven go with Moira to the CIA where they meet people who are helping mutants and they meet Hank McCoy/Beast. There they recruit more mutants to their team. They find out that Shaw is trying to start a new world war and they have to stop him.
This movie was pretty sweet action. The story is different from the comics, but unless you are a comic book nerd, I don't think you will mind because the movie is pretty darn cool. I might be seeing it again tonight. :) I recommend that you go to the movie if you like superheroes and X-Men and stuff like that. Once again though, there is no extra clip at the end and Stan Lee isn't in this movie.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Trailer (8/26)

http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi4232289561/

Ahhh! Looks so scary! I want to see it. This movie was suppose to come out in January but it have been pushed back until August. Oh well, I will see it eventually. This movie is about a girl who goes to live with her dad in a new house and there are creepy things in the house that want the girl. This movie is based off a made for tv movie by the same title. I am going to find the original one and watch it. :)
