For Christmas I got some itunes cards and I used them to get more music (of course). I didn't know what music to get so I went and got some from artists that I already have. Fast Five

The last Fast and the Furious movie is coming out in the spring. Guess who is excited to see it? ME!!!!!!! They now have the first trailer out and it looks pretty kickin'. I got the storyline off of imdb and I also have the trailer. Remember you saw it first here (if you haven't already seen it somewhere else).

Tron: Legacy

Today, Tron: Legacy came out and I went and saw it in 3D. The movie wasn't too bad, not as good and the trailer made it out to be, but I enjoyed it. This movie is a sequel SO YOU HAVE TO SEE THE FIRST ONE BEFORE THIS ONE. The movie starts out with Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) telling the story of the first Tron to his son, Sam (the hottie Garett Hedlund). Kevin then goes missing and like 20 years later, Sam goes looking for him and ends up in The Grid which is in the computer. Sam gets sent to the games where the computer people find out that he is Sam Flynn. The take him to the man in charge which looks like his father, but it is a program named Clu that was designed by Flynn. Clu challenges Sam to a game of Light Cycles and as Clu almost destroys Sam, Quorra saves him and takes him to his dad. They only have a few hours to get to the portal out before it shuts while racing Clu.

The trailers promised a sweet action movie but only delivered an action movie. The movie was good, but I was just a little excited for it. I did enjoy watching Garret Hedlund run around and ride a motorcycle. I still recommend that everyone go and see it. I think if anyone just went and saw it without any expectations, they would enjoy the movie.

The trailers they showed before the movie were for The Green Lanturn, The Green Hornet, Cars 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, and Rio, all I have seen except for the new Rio trailer. This One Is For You Airy-ka (Thor Movie)

Airy-ka, I know that you like Chris Hemsworth (who wouldn't) and well we all know that he is going to be Thor in the upcoming Thor movie. Well, I just watched the first Thor trailer (note that the movie doesn't come out until May 6).
This looks sweet action there is fighting and a hot dude and superheroness and a hot dude, everything a movie needs. Haha. Well the only bad thing I found is that Natalie Portman is in it (not a huge fan). For anyone who doesn't know who or what Thor is about, Thor is a Marvel comic book character of the Norse god. "The powerful but arrogant warrior Thor is cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard and sent to live amongst humans on Earth, where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders" (imdb.com). Super cool, right? Well if you are not convinced, here is the trailer.

I Love Trailers

I love movies if you couldn't already tell, but what is almost as fun as the movie is the trailer. The trailer is just a sneek peek at what the movie will hold. They give you enough to get you interested and a little excited. Well, a while back I heard of a movie called The Eagle. This movie "In Roman-ruled Britain, a young Roman soldier endeavors to honor his father's memory by finding his lost legion's golden emblem (imdb.com)." The young Roman soldier is Channing Tatum and his has a slave, Jamie Bell, to help him.

Double or Nothing

Well, Friday night my friends convinced me to go to a concert for the Ogden band called Double or Nothing. Now, I'm  glad I did cause they are pretty good and most of them were good looking. Their music was a little more on the pop side but good. The cool part is that one of their main instraments is the electric violin and man is it good. The concert was great and I bought their cd. The band members live in Ogden and go to Weber State. So if you here of them or hear of a concert, GO! You will not regret it.

The one on the end and the two on the other end are cute and the second one on the left is not cute but he is the only one that has a girlfriend.  Haha.

Firefly and Serenity

Hey my sillies. I just finished another tv series (this one was short so don't think that I spend all my time watching movies and tv shows jk). The show that I watched is called Firefly made by Joss Whedon (the same dude who made Buffy and Angel). This show has a western and sify mix to it. The 2002 series only had one season, which is too bad. I also watched the movie that went with it called Serenity. I greatly enjoyed both of them.
The show is based in the year 2540 A.D. The Earth's resources were used up and there were too many people, so people set out in spaceships and colonized a new solarsystem. They "terraformed" planets to make them like Earth and lived on them. The central planets created a government and called them the Alliance. The outer planets didn't like the Alliance rule so they rebelled but lost. That is where you meet the star of the show. Malcom Reynolds (hottie Nathan Fillion) fights in the war against the Alliance in the Battle of the Valley of Serenity. Well then it goes to 6 years later. He is a captain on a firefly class spaceship called Serenity with his crew.
His crew consists of his war buddy Zoe, her husband and the pilot Wash, a mechanic named Kaylee, his crazy gun man Jayne, and a companion (like a geisha) named Inara. They are a smuggling and crime gang. After a heist, they pick up passengers to cover the heist. There they pick up a shepard (priest) named Book, a doctor named Simon, and another dude. When they are flying around in space, a transmission goes out to an Alliance outpost and the crew has to figure out who did it. Well they think it is Simon so they get into his stuff and find that he has a girl in cryosleep. The girl is his sister River who he broke out of an Alliance facility that were torchering her and doing things to her brain. The person who sent out the signal was the random dude who turns out to be an Alliance hunter. He tries to get Simon and River to take them back so the Alliance can have River. They kill the hunter man and have to fight off the Alliance. At the end of the first episode they decided to keep the shepard and the brother and sister. The show goes on from there.
The movie came out in 2005 and picked up right were the tv show left off. They try to figure out what the Alliance wanted with River and they tried to fix her brain. It was all action-full and cool. There were spaceships flying around and people shooting each other and epic fights. It was pretty cool and a little sad cause some of the main characters died. :(

A Serious Issue

Hey my friends. In school, I have been writing papers on a serious issue that has strong emotions on my part. This issue is shark finning. This is a serious problem and most people don't even know about it. Most people are like, "Sharks they are scary and we should kill them or not bother." Well that is where you are wrong.
To start off, more people are killed by being crushed by vendimachines than by sharks (true fact). And sharks are very important in our ocean ecosystems. Sharks are an apex predator, meaning that they influence every creature below them. Without sharks eating fish, the fish will eat all the plankton, which are the bottom of the food chain. Without the plankton, there will be no more food for the fish. Also, plankton use photosynthesis to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen for people to breath. Without sharks, the ecosystem of the ocean will breakdown.

In Asia, shark fin soup is a huge delicacy that people will pay up the butt for. Shark fins only go into texturizing soup and imparts no flavor or anything. In 2001, 176,369,810 pounds of shark fin were on the market. Can you imagine how many sharks that is? That was only in 2001, I'm pretty sure that number is way up now. A lot of these fins come from third world countries that don't have a lot of money. They know that Asians with pay $800 US a pound for shark fins.

This is hard on sharks because sharks can't recover from loses like that. Sharks are like humans, they don't become sexually mature until ages 10-20 (depending on species), they only have approximately 2 offspring at a time, and the offspring stay in their mother's womb for about 6 months to a year (depending on species). Most of the sharks that are caught are not sexually mature and they haven't had any offspring. This would be like someone killing millions of teenagers and young children every year. If you do the math on that with 6 billion people in the world and every year 10 million kids are killed. That would take 600 years to kill off the population. And that is not taking in to account the people that die of old age or accidents or anything of that matter. And the numbers on the sharks are going up.

Well now that you know the statistics of it, let me tell you about what happens to these sharks. Boats will go out and deploy longlines. Longlines are just like they sound. Huge fishing lines with thousands of hooks on them. Not only do these lines catch sharks, but they catch fish, dolphins, turtles, birds, and whales. Most of these animals are air breathers and when attached to the lines, they can't surface to breath and they slowly drown. The fish will get tangled up and they wont be able to get water in their gills and they will drown and die. When they pull the sharks out of the water, if they are not dead yet, their fins will get cut off and they are tossed in the water. There the sharks will slowly bleed to death over the next 3 days. Same goes with the other animals, turtles and dolfins will be killed when they are caught and just thrown overboard.

There is a ban on shark finning in the US and some other countries like Australia, Canada, Mexico, and places that are sympathetic with the US. But in third world countries and Asian countries, they fight to keep it legal. They are not about to give up their food and source of income. There has also been bans on longlining and drift nets (another way to catch lots of aquatic animals), but not in enough places.

Creating awareness is one way to help (hence this post) and there are other ways you can help. At an individual level we could take the following precautions: Never have shark-fin soup and refuse to patronize

restaurants that serve this. Avoid medicines or supplements that profess to utilizing the healing power of shark cartilage or any other part of a shark. Do not buy shark teeth (unless fossilized), shark jaws, or any items made with shark skin. Please love our sharks. They are not scary. If you think sharks are scary, watch Shark Week on Discovery Channel; it's usually on the last week of July or the first week of August. Love sharks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Or else...)

Humans vs Zombies on USU Campus

Hey all. I was meaning to make a post about how the game when and I kept forgetting until my friend airy-ka reminded me. Well the game ended on the 5th of this month with a final mission. I was zombified on Monday (the first day). I was walking back from my last class of the day and I was almost to my dorm. I walk in front of the library and I hear someone yell "ZOMBIES!!!" So I take off to the physics labs to find a door that I can get to so I can be safe inside the building. These two guys start gaining on me and I got suck behind some bike racks so I had to go around them. When I was 10 ft from the door, one of the guys tags/shoves me and I trip and fall and roll and hurt my hands and elbow on the cement. And that is how I became a zombie. I decided that I can't survive a rage virus zombie apocalypse because they can run and I would be screwed.
The week was filled with day missions and night missions. I never did the day missions cause I was in class, but they weren't to great anyways. They just involved catching "scientists" and things like that. I went to a couple of night missions and the final night mission. Those were usually a disaster as the humans greatly out numbered the zombies and usually won. The zombies won one of the night missions that was to protect the Original Zombie from the humans so they can't make vaccines against us. I didn't go to that one cause I had homework to do. Oh well. I did go to the final mission though.
The final mission was that all the humans had to run a gauntlet (as pictured below) through campus and the zombies had ambush areas where we had to kill them or take their vaccination cards.
This was really fun. I was in the first ambush group by the quad and our purpose was to get the humans to waste ammo so the other groups could kill them. We did our work pretty well. We would run through the human group yelling and screaming. This would freak them and get them to start shooting like crazy.
After they ran the gauntlet, we all met on the soccer field for the final showdown. It took forever to get everyone organized so us zombies would just yell and scream and make up cheers to scare the humans. It was so much fun. We would chant things like "We want brains" and do our schools sport chant "I believe that we will win" but we changed it to "I believe that we will kill." I was so cool listening to 300 kids shouting that. Well the final shoot out went down and supposedly the humans won cause no one would admit to being caught. Well, it was still pretty fun.
We get to play again in the spring and I'm pretty excited!!!! Go zombies!

100th Blog Post!!!!!!!!!!

Hey my sillies. This is my 100th blog post. Isn't that freakin awesome. Well for my 100th post I would like to tell you that I have made updates to my blog. Now you can look at posts by subject, take a poll (freakin sweet so do it!), and other stuff. I have been playing around and there is a ton of things you can do on blogger. This is sweet action. If you don't have a blog, get one and if you do, blog more!!! And have polls and stuff. This is way fun.
I have had this blog since Febuary and I have only blogged 100 times. That is kind of sad. As you can tell by the numbers that I had a phase of no blogging and I'm now in a phase of some blogging.
Halloween is this week and I'm super excited!!!!!!!!!! Halloween is my second favorite holiday after Shark Week. haha. What are you going to be for Halloween. Post a comment below about your costume.
This Halloween, I am going to have a scary movie marathon and on Sunday, I am going to watch The Walking Dead and go to my meeting for Humans vs. Zombies.
Next week, our school is doing a game called Humans vs. Zombies and I'm super excited. This game is a glorified game of tag. Everyone starts out as humans and there is one zombie. We all have bandanas to ID us. Humans wear it on the arm and zombies wear it on their head. Well the game is played that you can be tagged by zombies outside of building and humans can shoot the zombies with nerf guns or sock balls to make it so the zombies can't interact in the game for 15 min. If you get turned into a zombie, you have to "eat'' someone every 48 hours or you starve to death. The game ends when all the zombies starve or all the humans die. I'm sooooooo excited!!

Paranormal Activity 2

Last night, Paranormal Activity 2 came out and I went to see it at midnight with one of my friends. Man was that kind of a bad idea. This movie is kind of a prequel to the first movie it happens to Katie's sister about 3 months before the demon goes to her house. This movie scared me and I was jumping all of the time, but I only screamed once. The only bad thing is that it is rated R for some language and brief violent material (the f-bomb was dropped like 8 times and scary things happened).
So this family consisting of the mom (Katie from the first movie's sister), her husband, his daughter from his first marriage, and their one year old son. After a "break-in" the family installs a bunch of security cameras but the cameras don't catch any burglars, it catches the strange events going on at night and some times in the day. The daughter gets really freaked out so she looks up on line about demons and finds some interesting stuff. She reads that people make deals with demons for wealth or power or whatever and in payment they have to give up their first born son. If the person doesn't pay up, the demon stays with the family until it can get the first born son. Well the daughter finds out that her new brother is the only male to be born on her stepmom's side for like 50 years.
A bunch of freaky things happens and stuff like that. I'm not going to give away all of the movie, but I will say that it does tie into the first one. So if you are going to see this movie, make sure you have seen the first one. If you don't see the first one, make sure you have someone who has the first one. It will make a lot more sense. And make sure you watch it really late at night cause that is a lot more fun. ;)

The other day, I was imdb.com looking at stuff and I found this freaking hilarious trailer. It's for a movie called Paul. There are these two syfi nerds driving across America to go to a convention or something and they come across an alien. It looks super silly. I want to see it.

This morning, I saw the new movie Red. This is a funny movie about a bunch of retired CIA agents. It starts out with Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) and he is having problems with retirement. Everyday he calls his pension worker lady, Sarah, just to talk to her and he likes her. Well one night, a bunch of people come to kill him so he kills all of them and goes to get Sarah cause they are probably out to kill her, too. Well he talks to a bunch of the people he used to work with and finds out that people want him and a bunch of them dead cause of work they did years earlier in Guatemala. They have to fight for their lives to uncover the secrets and they have to do it against a CIA assassin (Karl Urban <3).
This movie was really funny and they blew people up and there was a lot of guns and shooting and there was fighting and there was Karl Urban!!!!!! I like Karl, he is hot hot hot. But he gets his butt kicked by Bruce Willis. I was laughing to cause there were some funny jokes and funny parts and stuff. I really liked this movie and it was only rated PG-13 for violence and some language. So my friends could go see it if they wanted to.
Well the one part that I was laughing the hardest at was when Frank, Sarah, and the crazy Marvin are at a cargo place at an airport. They were trying to get away from a helicopter that was shooting at them and these other people have them trapped. Well Marvin has been carrying around a pink stuffed pig and he unzips it and pulls out a grenade launcher and shoots it at someone and they blow up. I don't know why I was laughing so hard, I guess it's just cause I didn't expect them to shoot it at the guy. I kind of expected them to shoot it near him so he dies that way.

He is so freaking hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Giant Fish At Cutler Reservoir

Guess what I did this week? Well in my fish diversity lab, we went to Cutler Reservoir in Bensen (North Logan area) to catch giant fish (as you could have probably inferred from the title). We were looking at different kinds of nets and how they catch fish. We had a few little minnow traps (that didn't catch much), a barrel net (which also didn't catch much), and a huge gill net (which are illegal in commercial fishing). The gill net is where we caught about a hundred fish which we had to untangle. Gill nets are nets that have opens that are about 2 inches, depending on what you want to catch, and when fish swim through them, they get stuck and when they try to swim back out of the net, the net gets caught on their gills.

Most fish will struggle and get even more tangled up, which makes it hard for us to untangle them and get them out before they drown. Well what we caught in our nets were walleye, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and catfish. The thing about catfish is that they have spines on their dorsal fin and their pectoral fins that stick out and get even more caught in the net and stab you in the hands. So we spent an hour trying to get fish out of nets then we had to weigh and measure them. I was the one doing the weighing and measuring and these fish are huge!

 This fish was like 23 inches and 7 pounds!!! This is a Channel Catfish.

This is a bunch of Walleye. They were about 55 inches and about 6 pounds. Hugenormous fish!!!!!!!!!

So once apon a time, a B-list movie came out in the long ago year of 1981. This movie is called The Evil Dead, which is an epic zombie-ish movie. Well the other day I watched the sequel, The Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn.  This movie was sooooooooo funny. I was laughing so hard.
The movie starts out with our main character and hero, Ash (Bruce Campbell), and his girlfriend (who dies in the first 10 min of the movie). Well, there is this book called The of the Dead and if you read it, the evil spirits posses bodies and dead bodies and all that jazz. Well in the first one, Ash is the only survivor and in the second one, he does the same exact thing to bring the dead back. His girlfriend gets infected and he has to behead her with a shovel. So he gets hauled up in this cabin and a bunch of strangers come and try to help him and all that.
The funniest part of the movie is that his dead girlfriend's head comes and bites his hand. Well the bite gets infected with the demon plague stuff and his hand tries to kill him. That part made me laugh cause his hand was freaking out and trying to fight him and smash stuff over his head and all that. I think I will try to find a youtube vid of that.  Well he cuts his hand off with a chainsaw and his hand now plagues him through out the movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKHBOCoqhfE The hand just runs around and attacks him and he tries to kill it. I was peeing my pants I was laughing so hard. The first Evil Dead was serious and ment to be really scary. The second movie was ment to be funny and it is. Now I will get the third movie, The Army of Darkness, on Monday. I'm so excited. This movie was epic!!
Bruce Campbell was really hot back in the day when he did these movies. And he was crazy ripped, too. I will try to find a picture but in the movie his shirt gets ripped down an arm and his arm and shoulder flex and it was way hot. I could see every muscle under his skin, even in his shoulder. Oh my hot. He was good looking back in the day. Now he is old and fat (sound like someone we know?)

Yea!!!

I finally have all three extended editions of The Lord of the Rings!!! Now I have to find a 12 hour time slot to watch them all. I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited. I can't wait. Well, I guess I will just have to watch them individually when I have a random 4 hour time slot. My friends, I think one weekend I will come home and we will watch all three of them in a row. Not this weekend of course, but that will be way crazy fun.

More TV Shows My Friends Get Me Watching

Well I spent about 3 hours yesterday watching a TV show that my friends got me watching. This time the show is Arrested Development. When I say 3 hours, I mean a lot of episodes because each episode is 20 mins long. Why do I have so much time to just waste. Well actually I should be happy that I have time to watch silly TV shows and movie and all the other random things I do.
Arrested Development is a TV show from 2003 about a rich, dydysfunctional family. When the dad gets put in jail for stealing money from the company and all those big business stealing things that stupid rich people do, his son Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman who is good looking) has to take over the family business. Michael is the only responsible person in his family. His sister, Lindsey, is one of those shop all the time people. Lindsey's husband, Tobias, decided to quit his job as a doctor or psychiatrist (one of those) to be an actor, but he sucks really bad. Michael's brothers, Gob (pronounced Job like in the Bible), is a failure of a magician and spends lots of money on props, and Buster, who has a million worthless college degrees like map making and junk like that, they both spend a lot of money. The mother, Lucille, loves to spend money and has a maid. Michael has a son, George Michael (Michael Cera), is also responsible, but Maeby (pronounced maybe) Lindsey's daughter, is not responsible and steals money from the family's banana stand. Michael's father, George, wont help Michael in anything that could possible help the family business. So his family is crazy.
The show is about their daily lives and the crazy things they do. The last episode I watched was about how Michael sleeps with a blind chick and finds out the the lady is the prosecutor for his dad's court case. So Tobias sneaks into her house to steal evidence, but it turns out she is not blind and it's funnier than crap. She almost his Tobias with a bat, but he sprays her in the eyes with perfume, which temporarily blinds her. So Michael tries to prove that she is blind and throws a Bible at her face to prove she will catch it. But she now actually can't see and it hits her square in the face. I was laughing pretty dang hard.
There is three seasons and I'm just finishing season one. This show is really funny and actually pretty clean. I think people should totally watch this show. I think they would like it and we can have another TV show that we quote from all the time.

Well I watched another stupid movie (of course). This movie is Never Cry Werewolf. I only watched it cause my new hottie, Peter Stebbings, was in it. This movie is like a mix of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Disturbia, a bit of Twilight, and a lot of stupid. I still liked it cause it was kind of weird and when a hot guy asks you to become a werewolf with him and "you will feel the carnal passion as you couple under the moonlight," I saw you hop on board because werewolves are cool and not stupid like vampires and the guy is really hot. Haha. Friends, you know my humor and my hobo brain so you should probably disreguard the previous thing I just said. Haha.
In Never Cry Werewolf, Lorin gets a hot new neighbor (Peter Stebbings) and he acts a little weird. She notices that he has hair palms, his eyes glow in the dark in one scene, people have gone missing and she saw him with one of the people, his dog is crazy and the dog understands him, and a few other things. So she decides that he is a werewolf, oh and guess what?, she happens to be right. So she tries to expose him, but that only gets her friend killed and her brother kidnapped. So she has to go all leather, bad-acery and get a cross bow to kill him.

So to kill a werewolf, you need silver, right? Well guess how she gets her silver. Silverware. She tapes silver forks and knives to arrows and shoots them out of her crossbow. Well that would work if the weight of the forks and knives didn't unbalance the arrows. Arrows are perfectly balanced and any change of the weight and they wont fly straight. So don't you think that sticking a half pound knive on an arrow that weighs about an eighth of a pound would make it so your arrow will just shoot straight down as soon as it leaves the crossbow. Well not in this movie. Really stupid. And to finally kill the werewolf, she shoots a silver shotgun barrel at the werewolf. Yeah freakin' right!!! Shotgun barrel would weight like 6 pounds. Totally lame action.

Well I didn't watch the movie for the movie, right? I watched it for a really hot guy. Peter Stebbings is hot and he rides a motorcycle in the movie and takes of his shirt and things like that. He is not super riped and tan like Paul Walker or Sean Faris, but hey most people aren't. So I will post some pictures from the movie.

Zombie Tv Show!!!!

Hey there is going to be a zombie tv show on AMC. It's called The Walking Dead. I first heard about it on shootforthehead.com. Then imbd.com put up stuff for it. Well here is the trailer for this tv show that comes out on Halloween.

Awesome tv show!!!!

I just finished watching an awesome tv show called Jeremiah. It ran for 2 seasons on Showtime in 2002-2004. I found it on Netflix and I really liked it, but I don't think some of the content would be good for some of my regular readers (haha to regular readers). Since it was on Showtime, there wasn't the regular tv censoring to it. So there were swear words, so sex scenes, and topless women. Let me explain the premise of the show before you are all like "Topless women!!"
In the tv show Jeremiah, in the year 2005, a virus called the Big Death killed all the people over puberty. So pretty much everyone over the age of 12/13. So the show takes place 15 years later when everyone has grown up in a lawless world. The show follows a man named Jeremiah (played by Luke Perry who is kind of cute pictures will be put up) as he tries to find out what happened to his dad and a mysterious place called Valhalla Sector where his dad went.

In the pilot episode, Jeremiah meets a man named Kurdy and they become friends. Jeremiah and Kurdy get in to a mess with a town leader named Theo who is a crazy chick and was the one who said that quote that I texted everyone "I didn't wake up at the crack of sparrow fart for this." Anyways, Theo talks of a place called the End of the World where all of the old world technology works. Well this dude named Simon gets captured by Theo and Jeremiah and Kurdy help him get out, and Simon tells them the end of the world is a real place. Well Simon gets shot and dies and tells Jeremiah to take a message to the End of the World that "It's back." Well Jeremiah and Kurdy follow the insturctions Simon gives them as he dies and they end up at a place called Thunder Mountain. Thunder Mountain is a giant military bomb shelter under a mountain. Inside they meet the leader of Thunder Mountain named Markus (played by Peter Stebbings who is crazy hot in my opinion and again pictures will be posted). At Thunder Mt, all the technology works and all that cool stuff. Jeremiah and Kurdy get to stay if they help Markus and the team there.

I think he is way hot but whatever. I know that most people don't agree with me on who is hot and not. Markus is way cool character also.
Anyways, I liked this show and I'm really sad that only 2 seasons got made. Though it didn't end in a stupid and crazy way. It actually kind of ended. Which is better to say than Angel. That show ended way bad. Well anyways, I think the episodes are on hulu if you are interested in watching them. Good day to all!!!!!

The Other Guys

I saw the movie The Other Guys yesterday, and it was pretty dang funny. Though it was kind of weird. I can imagine a lot of it came from Will Ferrell's mind. The movie is of two super cool cops (Samuel L. Jackson and Dwane "The Rock" Johnson) who die and somebody has to fill their places. Well, Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg :)) convinces his paper-pushing partner Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) that they are the guys to do it. They try to take out a real tough case, but it doesn't seem to work for them. What they don't realize is that they stumbled on to something a lot bigger. They solve the case in the end and become super cool.

I was laughing so hard in this movie, more because of the weird and ackward things that are in the movie. I guess the weird things were ment to be funny. This is a good movie though. Though the movie is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content, language, violence and some drug material. It was still really, really funny and I laughed way hard.

Tron

I watched Tron a couple of weeks ago. This is a movie where a Master Control Program is taking over. A former employee named Flynn wants to hack into MCP to get evidence that he wrote a bunch of video game programs there were stolen by the head of the company. Another employee, Alan, is angry because the MCP has locked him out so he can't finish his program, Tron, that would actually watch the MCP and regulate it. Well the MCP doesn't like that. (MCP is sentient) So these two guys team up to take out the MCP. Well while Flynn is trying to hack in so Alan can finish working on his Tron program, the MCP uses a laser to zap Flynn into the computer. So to survive, Flynn has to compete in games and team up with Tron to take out the MCP.
This movie was pretty entertaining but the graphics were pretty crap. This movie was mostly CGI but CGI from the early 80's. It was still good to watch. Check out the trailer.

Inception

I went and saw that new movie Inception and it was pretty good. A little long but you don't really notice because you're so engrossed witht the movie.
This movie has kind of a confusing plot, but you eventually figure it out. It's about how people try to get information out of your dreams. "In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job till date, Inception (imdb.com)" Leonardo DiCaprio is the main character named Cobb and there is David Gordon-Levitt as Arthur and so on and so forth. There is a hot guy in the movie though. He is Tom Hardy. Anyways... Cobb is told to plant and idea in this dude's head (inception) so he will break up his dad's business empire. If Cobb does this he will be able to go home. So Cobb assembles a team and they go into this dude's head and all this extensive stuff.
This movie was pretty cool and I did enjoy watching a hot guy through out the movie. Well in the dream world they could do whatever they wanted and it was pretty cool the things that they do. Like they can bend the world and walk on walls and the celing and stuff. It was cool and if you haven't seen it yet, you need to.

Night of the Living Trekkies by Kevin David Anderson and Sam Stall

I haven't blogged forever! So I'm going to do a massive blog update today with everything that I have been doing for awhile (mainly what movies I have seen). I'm going to start off with one of the funniest things I have ever read.


Night of the Living Trekkies is freaking hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't ever remember how I found it but I was on Amazon and I found it and preordered it. I got it and read it in a day. I was laughing so hard.
This book is about a guy named Jim Pike (JIM kirk and christopher PIKE haha) who growing up was a Star Trek fan, but after two tours in Afghanistan, he didn't believe in fantisy anymore and just wanted a no responsibilty job to do nothing in. He works at a hotel in Houston called Botany Bay (based of the place Captain Cook named in Australia and not the ship Khan was on) which is holding a Star Trek convention. His sister, Rayna, is coming to the convention with some friends. But not too far away, a underground facility housing things infected with some virus somehow gets out of control and stuff gets out.
Suddenly a friendly Star Trek convention turns into ground zero for a zombie apocalypse. Jim now can't escape responsibility when he has to save a group of survivors from the hotel. He has to fight tons of zombies with only Star Trek weapons, Tasers, and a single gun.
This book was hilarious. There were so many Star Trek references and some Star Wars references. Every chapter was titled after a Star Trek episode (most of them the Original Series). There were mentions of things like Hortas, Spock's brain, the Star Trek movies, and things from Star Wars. I want to lend this book to my Star Trek friends so they can read it. I was so funny.

What a sucky way to end a series.

I just finished watching the tv show Angel. This show is a spin off of the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I liked this show (except the fourth season) and it had a really hot guy in it. David Boreanaz.

This show was about Angel the vampire with a soul who went to L.A. to save the world. It was super awesome. There was lots of fighting and demon slaying and junk like that. It was really cool.
This show ran for five seasons which were good except for the the fourth season. That season was crap with annoying people and annoying problems. There was also tons of humor and funny crap. Like in the fifth season, Angel got turned into a puppet. I was laughing so hard. There are a lot of funny pop culture references that are silly.
But the thing I hate the most was how it ended. SPOILER They just go into a huge battle and then the end. They don't solve anything. We don't even know who dies or if Angel or Spike get to become human like the prophacy said. Man did that suck. Well it was good while it lasted. Now I have to find something else to fill my time. Maybe I will read a book. ;)

Teaching Swimming Lessons SUCKS!

Well sort of. Today was my first day of swim lessons and I found out it was not what I expected. Well first off, I'm suppose to be an aid but I'm a teacher. And I don't get paid as a teacher cause I don't have my WSI (Water Safty Instructor) certification. I got stuck with levels 1, 2, and 3. I teach level 1 at 10 in the morning, level 2 at 11 in the morning, and level 3 at 6 at night. So I have to go back there and teach tonight.
Level 1 sucks because the kids are too scared to even get in the water. They wont even come up to chest level. It sucks so we have to babysit them and try to make them get in the water. That is not fun at all. Level 2 is a little better cause they listen a little better and they can do more things and they aren't as scared. But they are all over the place.
I don't know how I'm going to do with level 3 but they should mostly know how to swim. The only good is that I get to be in the water 3 hours a day and get tan. haha. It also gets me out of my other job selling Cutco. I really don't want to sell Cutco anymore. I don't really like talking to people and going to stranger's houses. Oh well. The summer is almost over so I can do these jobs for another 2 months. Oh and my brother left for school today. So no more Steven.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

So I finally finished watching all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was pretty good and I liked it. Most people would think that it is a stupid show that is for little girls and girls who like Twilight and crap like that. Well to tell you, this show is not for little girls. This show is a TV-14 show. There is sexual inuendos and sex and some mild language and violence and stuff like that. So not for little girls. Definatly a big girl show. Also, this show is not for those stupid Twilight fans (tonight is the 3rd Twilight movie premier and my sister is going and she made my dad go to the screening of all three of the movies). This is the real vampires that die in sunlight and can be staked through the heart and DON'T SPARKEL!! These are the real vampire, but they don't turn into bats thank goodness. Though, they do get vampire ugly (they get weird forehead things and stuff when they go vamp).
But the show did have a bunch of hot guys. Like Buffy's vampire boyfriend Angel (David Boreanaz) who got his own series Angel (which I am almost finished with) and her other boyfriend Ryle Finn (Marc Blucas). There were other hot guys too, but these are just the main ones. Well Spike was okay (James Marsters) he was more funny than anything. But this was a fun show and I did enjoy watching it. Since it was made in the late 90's and early 2000's some of the styles and jokes were kind of old but that's okay cause I like some of the stuff. :) Well it was a good show and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet.

A whole ton of fireworks.

Haha. Today I went to Phantom Fireworks in Evanston and I got a whole shiz load of fireworks. I went in the store and they told us that everything was buy one get one free or if marked buy one get two free. Also, if I bought over $150 of fireworks, I would get $160 worth of stuff for free. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the best. I have so much fireworks. I think we should do a little friend 4th of July on Thursday. I have lots of stuff next Friday to Sunday, but I would love if I got to have a friends 4th of July. :)

OUCH!!!

Well well well. I never thought this would happen. Yesterday I was using one of my Cutco knives to get through frozen rolls. I was using the butcher knife. Well I was trying to get the rolls separated before I had to go to church. So I was pushing through the rolls and the knife when through and lightly ran over the top of my finger. Well... lightly running over my finger means 6 stiches with Cutco knives. Man are those knives sharp.
So instead of going to church, I went to the Instacare. That was so much fun...NOT! Well it did get me out of the nursurey. Yeah, I got a calling into the nursurey. That's what I get for not having a calling in Logan.
Now I have stiches in my right index finger until the middle of next week. Oh well. I guess it's a good thing that my second job teaching swim lessons has been postponed until the 5th of July. Now I have a finger that says, "Ouch." :) Well keep on truckin'. And remember "Cutco is a good investment because you will always have a sharp knife."

Defiance. A WWII Movie

I watched Defiance the other day and it was pretty good. It's about the four Bielski brothers who save over a thousand Jews from death by hiding them in the Belarussian forest. This movie is based on true events. Daniel Craig (James Bond) and Liev Schreiber (Wolverine) are the two main characters. They have different ideas on how to stay alive. Tuvia Bielski (Craig) wants to hid all the Jews in a forest camp, while Zus (Schreiber) wants to fight. So Zus goes and joins the Russian army that is also hiding in the forest.
This is a good movie but it's rated R for language and violence. I like historical action movies and especially WWII stuff. I still think everyone should see it eventhough there are a few swear words in it.

Company Men

So the other day I watched a silly movie called Company Men. It is about a man, Alan, who is a grammer teacher and everyone tells him his job sucks and he needs a new job. So just to make them all stop messing with him, he tells them he is a CIA agent. Well his wife tells everyone. So Alan and his wife, Daisy, go to a ballet of a Russian dancer named, Petrov (who is Ryan Phillippe). Well Petrov defects (gives up Russian secrets and goes to live in the US) with the help of Alan cause Petrov thinks Alan is a CIA agent. So the CIA actually get Alan in cause he defected Petrov. So they send him to Cuba to catch Fidel Castro. So they try to do that and the CIA gets confused and sends people into the Bay of Pigs.
It's pretty funny. I did laugh some. But anyways I think it would be a good movie for people to see.

What a coinedence

Well I was on my computer listening to my itunes on shuffle and the star trek sound track came on. So I decided to take it off of shuffle and listen to it. Well then I got on to imdb and found out that it is Zachary Quinto's birthday today. Isn't that weird. He turns 33 today. So Happy Birthday!!! Man isn't he a hottie?!

Movies. This one you probably shouldn't see but there is a hot guy.

On Friday I went and saw the movie MacGruber. This movie is based on Saturday Night Live's 90 second sketches called MacGruber. It's a spoof on the show MacGiaver (or however you spell that). In the sketches it always deals with MacGruber has 30 seconds to defuse a bomb with just the few materials in the room. But he starts talking and he blows up. It is usually pretty funny. Well the movie is that the bad guy has a really big bomb and is going to blow up Washington DC. The bad guy is Val Kilmner. Well they ask MacGruber to come and stop him but he says no at first, but he finds out that the bad guy is the dude who killed his wife. So he says yes.
Well he gets a super team behind them but they blow up. So he is stuck with a girl who was suppose to be on the team but said no at first. Her name in the show is Vikki St. Elmo. And he is also stuck with a marine named Lt. Piper. This character is played by the incredibly hot hot hot Ryan Phillippe.

Well MacGruber starts to look for the bad guy but he doesn't use guns and he only uses gadgets that he makes and rips out throats. Its a pretty funny show.
But it is rated R and I know my friends wouldn't like it cause there are some dirty parts. Well take out those parts and it would be just really funny. So you probably shouldn't watch it but just to let you know... Ryan Phillippe is a hottie.

Lost The Season Finale

After 6 seasons and 6 years, the tv show Lost is now over. I loved this show. I didn't care so much that they didn't answer like ANY questions but that's okay. I still enjoyed the show. Lots of people stopped watching but I watched all the way to the end.
Last night was the season finale and I didn't get to watch it last night for 2 reasons. First was Steven's seminary graduation that I had to go to. I didn't want to go. I didn't even go to mine cause I was working which was my excuse to not go. That was so boring. Second reason I didn't get to watch Lost was because we had too many things recording on the DVR so it didn't record Lost. That made me mad so I just watched it this after noon on Hulu.
The season finale was pretty epic. It ended the show but only answered some questions. But I still liked it. SPOILER It was so sad how Jack died. :( I liked Jack. The actor Mathew Fox is a hottie. But everyone died on that show. Some of the survivers got off of the island though. Kate, Saywer, Miles, Claire, Richard, and that pilot guy LePedis got off. And the smoke monster/Locke died. He was shot by Kate. That was pretty cool. And Ben got beat up again. That is so funny. I was sad when Jack died though. He was a hottie.
Well goodbye Lost. I will miss you even though I have no idea why most of the things on that show happened. Haha. Lost is the best.

Iron Man 2. One more step to the Avengers movie.

Well I just went and saw Iron Man 2. That was pretty good. Tony Stark is living the high life and being a dork. The government wants the Iron Man "weapon" and they are being a pain in the butt. And the bad guy is a man who's father was a scientist working at Stark Ind. and was kicked out of the country by Tony's father cause the bad guy's dad was being greedy with their new project and wanted to make money off of it when Tony's dad wanted to advance mankind.

So yady yady yady I don't want to give away to much BUT DO STAY AFTER THE CREDITS. All the Marvel movies have things after the credits so stay for them cause that is the next step towards the new Avengers movie. The upcoming movies that lead to the new Avengers movie are Thor and Captain America.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars WFT

Well I finally got around to watching this cartoon Star Wars version. I mainly watched it cause the guy who does the voice of Anakin is a cutie.

Well this movie obviously was for little children cause the humor was for children. It kind of fits into the Star Wars saga but I didn't know Anakin had a padawan. And his padawan, Asoka, is a dork. I don't really like her, she calls Anakin "Skyguy" after knowing him for like 10 min. Okay well that is lame. Lame name and do you really give someone a nickname after knowing them for 10 min? I certainly don't. And the story line was lame and the action was lame and the script was lame.

So if you want to watch this movie, go right ahead, but know it's for little children. Not that great of a movie.

Movies and Music. My 2 favorite things.

This weekend I went and saw Kick-Ass. Recommendation to my usuall readers, don't see it. You wouldn't like it. The f word all the time and an 11 year old girl killing everyone. It was kind of funny and but I don't think that my friends would like this movie at all.
Moving on, I got my copy of Avatar today!! Yea! I watched it and it's still a good movie. Of course my roommate, Katie, doesn't like it cause it's not indie so she critisizes it like none other. I have found that if she doesn't like something she will trash on it like none other. Well I guess everyone has their character flaws. Anyways back to Avatar, Sam Worhtington is so hot. I would love to be kidnapped by him. Holy crap is he hot and awesome.
Now to the music subject. I found a cool band. It's called Five Finger Death Punch. They kind of have a style like All That Remains. Most of their songs are in the screamo category, but the songs that are normally sung are pretty good. I will put up a few links to songs.

Jaws Part 3

Jaws 3 sucked soooooooooo bad. Holy crap. I can't believe that a Jaws movie could suck so badly. (Actually I can cause Jaws Revenge sucks pretty bad.) Well in this Jaws movie, a giant shark gets into Sea World. WTF!!!! Well that's not all. The acting sucked, the story sucked, the CGI sucked like a black hole, and 2 hours of my life was sucked from me. The story was just bad decision after bad decision. Well to fight the shark, they tried to lure it into a filter, it worked but the guy who lured the shark in got eaten in a pretty stupid fashion (but death by shark not the less). Well the manager guy said to shut off the filter. Well that enabled the shark to swim better, but the shark swam backwards. NO SUCH THING!! SHARK CAN'T SWIM BACKWARDS!! I WOULD KNOW!! haha. Well anyways it was stupid and just stick with the first Jaws and maybe the second one.

How to Tame Your Dragon

What a good movie. I went and saw it Monday night and it was awesome. My friend Kristan had a date and she didn't want to go alone cause he is a little of a creeper. So we went and saw the movie. It was way way way super good. It was way cute and now I really want my own dragon.
The movie is about a boy named Hiccup and he wants to be a viking, but he is kind of a weakling that is a cluts. Well he invents things to capture dragons and uses one to capture a dragon. But he can't kill it so he lets it free and becomes friends with it. That is all I'm going to say about it cause I don't want to ruin it for anyone how hasn't seen it yet. Just go and see it cause it was so good.

Charlie Bartlett and my Aunt Flo

Well the other day Aunt Flo came to visit me for the month and I was really not happy. I was thinking violent thoughts of getting into my uterus and scrapping the lining of it to stop Aunt Flo. I bet we all do this. Well it reminded me of a scene from the movie Charlie Bartlett. Funny movie. Well it has Anton Yelchin (Chekov for the new Star Trek) in it and he is a funny actor. Well he is aditioning for a school play and he does this funny scene from some play called the Misadventures of a Teenage Renegade. Well I just thought this was really funny.

Howl's Moving Castle

This is a good movie. I watched it the other day and I really liked it. It is about a girl who gets a curse from the Witch of the Waste to turn her really old. The worst part is that she can't talk about the curse. So she goes to find a way to break it and ends up at Howl's Castle that walks around. Well she meets the fire deamon Calsifer, and a boy living there named Markl, and a scarecrow named Turniphead, and of course Howl. Well there is a war going on and things happen and it's a good movie. Oh and Howl's voice is Christain Bale and Calsifer's voice is Billy Crystal. And I decided that not only is Christian Bale an emotionless actor, he is an emotionless voice actor. There was practicly no emotion in his voice. It was the same voice the whole time. It kind of rubbed me. Well he did do his Batman voice a time or two.
Well anyways, I like Studio Gibli movies. They are really good. This one was good too.

Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg together in a movie. Can you imagine?

Haha. This movie looks so freakin funny. Mark Wahlberg is not in his usual bad a** roll but this still looks pretty shiz. I was laughing pretty hard.

All of Me

This weekend I watched a movie called All of Me with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. It is were a lawer, Roger (Martin), is going to change the will of a rich millionair, Edwina (Tomlin), who is going to die and she wants all her money to go to a young woman who she is going to put her soul into. Roger thinks Edwina is crazy cause you can't put your soul in another body...or so you think. It can be done but her soul accidently goes into Roger's body and she controls the right half of his body. Well now he has to get her out of his body. This movie was pretty funny. Especially when Roger had to go to the bathroom but his left hand go hurt. That was funny. Oh and there was Gone With the Wind references. But I liked the movie and you should see it.

I like dinosaurs.

I went to Walmart today so we could get things for one of our roommates. We had fun a were crazy. But while I was there I returned an audio cable that i though would work to hook my computer to my tv. Well it didn't work and I got another cable. Well that one doesn't work either. So I bought the right one on the internet. Well at Walmart Jurassic Park was in the $5 movie box so I got it. I like this show it rocks. I am watching it right now. The book is way super awesome too. The book is by Michael Chriton. He is the shiziest science fiction writer. I like dinosaurs cause they are crazy awesome and the T-Rex is awesome and so are the Raptor.

This is pretty shiz

Time Magazine put up the top 50 videos of youtube. That sad thing is that I have seen over half of these vids. Well wasted time in life. A lot of them are really good so if you haven't seen them watch them cause they are pretty shiz. I would have to say that I laughed the hardest at Kittens.

This is Breaking Benjamin doing a Queen cover of the song Who Wants to Live Forever. I love it. Ben has the most AMAZING voice ever. I love his voice. It's way way way super awesome, especially in this song. Ben is the absolute shiz and he is pretty good looking too.
