    Looks pretty good, but I've always liked Planet of the Apes... :)

    So is this new one supposed to be a remake of the one from 2001 with Mark Wahlberg? Or is it supposed to be it's prequel?

    An overall prequel. Not at all related to the Mark Wahlberg remake.
